Did you know, Cybercandy don't just stock snacks and sweets from around the world
They also have their own exclusive range, which includes some crazy yet delicious chocolates

I was sent 2 Japanese inspired flavours to try, they are Salty Sakura and Momotaro Peach
The packaging is super cute and bright, I love the inclusion of Momotaro himself on the Peach bar
He is a popular figure from Japanese folklore, though the story does kind of haunt me
I don't know how many times I translated that story in some way or another whilst I was at University haha

I will say though, that I don't like the font used for the Sakura bar
I'd much prefer actual Japanese to be used over this strange faux-Japanese

The packaging is rather like an envelope sealed with a sticker that's relevant to the flavour and theme
Touches like this are super sweet and I really enjoy them ♪

The Momotaro bar is Peach flavoured milk chocolate with pieces of crispy noodles inside

When you turn the bar over you can see just how jam packed with noodles the bar is!

I wasn't sure how noodles would work inside a chocolate bar, but I was pleasantly surprised
They offer a lovely crunch and texture to the bar, and since they're not flavoured
It doesn't feel like someone has coated a Pot Noodle in chocolate (this was my fear haha)

The chocolate itself has a rather mild peach flavouring to it
I find it was more prominent in the after taste, meaning the flavour intensifies with the more you eat
Which is always a good if you're wanting an excuse to chomp down on the whole thing!

Something odd... I was reading the ingredients for this bar on the packet and I noticed Garlic Powder
I wonder where that comes in? Haha, I definitely didn't taste any of it though, so that's ok

It's unsurprising that the Salty Sakura bar is a lovely bright pink!
There was also slight speckles of a deeper pink in the bar which I believe came from the salt

The chocolate is lovely and creamy, I believe a white chocolate base was used and then flavoured
The salt does come through and offers a sharpness but it's not overwhelming (or gross!)
But as for the Sakura, it doesn't really come through for me and it's left feeling rather flavourless
It's really strange because whilst it is tasty, it doesn't seem to taste of anything?

Overall both chocolate bars are really interesting and definitely unique, I think they would make great gifts!

If neither of these flavours take your fancy then be sure to check out the rest of
