I recently received the Happy Home Designer New 3DS LL
A 3DS console currently only available in Japan
and I wanted to share some pictures and thoughts on it with you~

So first of all the packaging is ADORABLE ♥, perfectly fitting for the series and the game itself
There's lot's of information on the back regarding the game (as it's pre-installed!)

as well as the new amiibo feature exclusive to New 3DS consoles
I was really surprised by how small the box is too
I remember the box for my original 3DS being almost twice the size despite the console being smaller

Inside was 2 leaflets that I presume aren’t included with other models of the console
The top is a little booklet of recommended games (mostly girly, I won't lie!)
Below is about the amiibo cards which confirms 4 series' of cards and 100 per set

Physical copies of the Happy Home Designer Game and the console came with an amiibo card!
I received DJ K.K. which I think is really cool because his birthday is in August and he is card no. 3
(my birthday is August 3rd AND this arrived on my birthday!!)

The console itself is so darn cute!
I did worry that not a lot of people would like it’s design as it could be considered a little odd
(it is just pieces of furniture after all)
but the minimalist design and recognizable items just made me swoon!
Honestly I think the apple TV being on there sold it to me haha
I know that the New 3DS XL’s so far have been really glossy
so I was expecting as much from this however, that doesn’t seem to be the case
It’s shiny, sure, but it’s not ridiculously shiny and it doesn’t get full of grubby finger prints hah
I did worry that not a lot of people would like it’s design as it could be considered a little odd

Unlike the smaller New 3DS console the pattern does not flow in one direction
and whilst the bottom plates can be removed for access to the SD card and battery
There is nothing on the top plate like the smaller New 3DS to show that it can be removed or changed

One thing that made me excited for this console too was the fact that it was a light colour inside!!
In the UK the only 3DS XL’s available are Black and Metallic Blue which are both really dark
and their shine means that finger prints show up really easily, the thought drove me insane

Over all I love this console, I told myself that as soon as an AC New 3DS became available
I would buy it and I'm so glad I could follow through and make that a reality
I'm a huuuuge fan of the series so it feels very special ♥
